Golborne lake, exclusively available to fish by caravan and camping guests only and is not an open fishery so a space should always be available, day tickets can be purchased through the , please see rules and prices below.
We first stocked the water some 8 years ago, today there is a mixed course fish including, Common and Mirror carp, Crucian carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Perch and some Chub, there’s also Brown trout
Strictly, all fish including Trout and Eels to be returned to the water as soon as possible, no keep nets allowed and any landing nets must be dipped before entry, Barbless hooks only and no floating baits to save any distress to the waterfowl on the water.
Please respect this area and the wildlife here, there is resident kingfishers, Barn owls and water voles that you may be lucky enough to see in the evenings and early mornings.
Day tickets can be purchased through the farm shop between the hours of 9.30am to 5.30pm
(Sun 10.00am to 4.00pm) fishing on the far bank only in the designated pegs
Day tickets £5.00p per day 1 rod only
• No carp sacks
• Strictly Barbless hooks only
• No Keep-nets
• No Landing Net, means no fishing
• No floating baits
• Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult ( i.e. over 18 )
• Please dip landing nets before and after fishing
• Unhooking mats to be used by all pleasure anglers
• Do not use large amounts of ground bait
• 1 rods per person
• No alcohol or radios to be consumed or played while fishing
• Please keep all gates shut
Please ensure all litter is taken away with you and not hidden in bushes
All anglers must have a valid rod license to fish and must be produced upon request.
